 Gruppenausstellung /read to/for – I read to sense the doubling of time/ 
  \nversammelt Arbeiten von Anna Budniewski\, Christine Sun Kim\, Brandon
 LaBelle\,   \nKarolin Meunier\, Luzie Meyer\, Miriam Stoney und Anna R.
 Winder und   \nreflektiert in Verbindung mit dem titelgebenden Satz der
 Dichterin Lisa   \nRobertson Lesen als künstlerische Praxis.  \nLesen
 wird dabei als Raum zeitlicher Überlagerungen verstanden\, in dem  
 \nBedeutung beweglich bleibt\, und sich im Vollzug der Lektüre immer
 wieder neu   \naktualisiert. Unterschiedliche Zeitlichkeiten – die des
 Textes und die der   \nLektüre – treten in ein Verhältnis von
 Gleichzeitigkeit und   \nNachträglichkeit und bilden rhythmische
 Bewegungen von Differenz und   \nNachhall. Lesen erscheint dabei als eine
 Form des inneren Hörens\, geprägt   \nvon Rhythmus\, Wiederholung\,
 Stimme und Resonanz\, und damit als ein Takt aus   \nPausen und
 Wiederkehr\, der den Leseakt als auditive und multisensorische  
 \nErfahrung erfahrbar macht. \nIn diesem Zusammenhang eröffnet die
 Ausstellung die diesjährige   \nAuseinandersetzung des Kunstverein
 Bielefeld mit dem Sinnesorgan des Ohrs und   \ndessen Verbindung zum Lesen
 und zu Formen des (Zu-)hörens. \nDie künstlerischen Positionen arbeiten
 jeweils mit Text als Bestandteil   \nihrer Praxis und verbinden Lese- und
 Schreibpraktiken mit Installation\, Video   \nund Sound. Die Ausstellung
 versteht sich als ein Prodkutions- und   \nExperimentierraum\, in dem
 installative Setzungen\, Lesungen und Performances   \nin wechselnde

 at *7 PM.* \n \nThe group exhibition /read to/for – I read to sense the
 doubling of time/   \nbrings together works by Anna Budniewski\, Christine
 Sun Kim\, Brandon LaBelle\,   \nKarolin Meunier\, Luzie Meyer\, Miriam
 Stoney\, and Anna R. Winder\, and reflects   \non reading as an artistic
 practice in connection with the exhibition’s   \ntitle phrase by the
 author Lisa Robertson. \nReading is understood here as a space of temporal
 overlap in which meaning   \nremains fluid\, and constantly re-actualized
 as the process of reading takes   \nplace. Different temporalities
 intersect in the act of reading: the time of   \nthe text\, but also the
 time of reading itself — enter into a relationship   \nof simultaneity
 and belatedness\, forming rhythmic movements of difference and  
 \nresonance. Reading thus emerges as a form of inner listening\, shaped by
   \nrhythm\, repetition\, voice\, and resonance\, and therefore as a
 cadence of   \npauses and returns that renders the act of reading an
 auditory and   \nmultisensory experience. \nIn this context\, the
 exhibition opens this year’s exploration by   \nKunstverein Bielefeld of
 the sensory organ of the ear and its connection to   \nreading and forms
 of listening. \nEach of the artistic positions engages with text as an
 integral part of its   \nartistic practice\, combining reading and writing
 practices with installation\,   \nvideo\, and sound. The exhibition
 conceives of itself as a space for   \nproduction and experimentation in
 which installations\, readings\, and   \nperformances enter into shifting
