DESCRIPTION:https://www.bielefeld.jetzt/node/1988058\n\nBragolin sind
 zurück 🖤❤️ \n \nBragolin is a Dutch dark wave/post-punk project
led by Edwin van der Velde\, \nknown for its strong melodic hooks
\npresent on gothic dance floors worldwide. Drawing from ’80s Bass VI
 lines\, \n’60s and ’70s organs\, and ’90s \nshoegaze guitars\,
Bragolin blends vintage and modern elements into a sound \ninspired by
post-apocalyptic and \nhorror cinema. The project takes its name from
Italian painter Giovanni \nBragolin\, famed for his “Crying Boy”
 \npaintings. \n \nThe debut album I Saw Nothing Good So I Left (2018)
featured the track Into \nThose Woods\, which is now a modern- \nday
dance floor classic. The song surpassed 10 million all-time streams in
\n2025\, establishing Bragolin as a \nconsistent presence within the
global dark wave and gothic scene. In 2019\, \nvan der Velde
collaborated with fellow \nDutch artist Adam Tristar on the second album
Let Out The Noise Inside\, which \nleaned further into electronic and
 \nsynth-based production. \n \nIn 2026\, Bragolin releases the new album I
Don’t Like What It Does To Me\, \nunfolding in gradually revealed
chapters. \nBuilding on the project’s signature sound\, the record
combines Bass VI \nmelodies\, organ lines\, and rich atmospheric
 \nproduction. Field recordings\, synthetic ocean textures\, water-phones\,
and \nexperimental sound sources create a \nlayered\, immersive
listening experience. The album features Feel This Flame \nUnfold\, a
duet with dark wave artist \nCarrellee. \n \nIn 2020 Edwin Daatselaar
joined Bragolin as synth player to form the current \nlive duo. Both
Edwins also play in Zwarte Poëzie. Bragolin has performed \nover 100
shows at festivals and clubs across Europe and Latin America\, \nincluding
appearances at Wave-Gotik-Treffen\, Amphi Festival\, and Cold Hearted
 \nFestival. \n
 \n------------------------------------------------------------------------------
\nCarrellee \nCarrellee is a US (Madison\, WI) based ethereal darkwave
artist who spent 2024 \nand 2025 touring Europe and North America as
backing vocalist/synth player \nfor IAMX. Her sophomore album released
by Germany's Young & Cold Records\, \nmixed by Maurizio Baggio (Boy
Harsher\, Nuovo Testamento\, The Soft Moon) and \nmastered by Josh
Bonati (Slowdive\, Drab Majesty) has been described as having \nan
"eerie allure" (Post-Punk.com) and a sound that is "melancholy\, wrapped
in \nvibrant electronics" (Destroy//Exist). Her debut Scale of Dreams
(Negative \nGain) sold out its initial pressing and was quickly
repressed by No Coast \nRecords. Her recent output includes a
collaborative single with My Manifesto \nand a feature on Bragolin's
2026 album. She has performed at Coldwaves\, \nVerboden\, Terminus\, and
Summerfest\, and she will co-headline a North American \ntour with
Bragolin in fall 2026 as well as supporting them across Europe. \n
