BieKino 2025 vom 13.06 – 15.06 I Rochdale Barracks
We’re excited to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our Biekino Film Cabaret and host our little festival again this year at the Rochdale Barracks! From June 13th to 15th, it’s time to write, shoot, edit, and throw it all on the big screen – all within 48 hours. Registration opens on May 1st. We can’t wait to see you there!
Join in and become part of a global community
We charge a contribution towards expenses of 30,- Euros for participation
Every ticket will include:
breakfast
free drinks at the lab (Beer is available until it’s all gone)
warm meal
ticket for the screening
free loan of camera/sound and lighting equipment
We will also try to arrange sleeping accommodations with local Kinoites for you this year. On-site, overnight stays are possible in designated areas with caravans, motorhomes, and tents.
Was ist ein KinoKabaret?
Ein KinoKabaret ist ein Ort an dem Kino- und Filmenthusiasten jeden Alters und Erfahrungslevels zueinander finden, um gemeinsam ihre Ideen auszutauschen und zu realisieren. Innerhalb von 48 Std. entsteht ein Script, es wird gedreht und geschnitten und zum guten Schluss werden die Ergebnisse gemeinsam auf der großen Leinwand angesehen. Dieses Jahr findet das Bielefelder Kinokabaret BieKino wieder in den Rochdale Baracks statt. Ein ehemaliges Kasernengelände am Rand der östlichen Innenstadt.
What is a KinoKabaret?
A KinoKabaret is a place where film enthusiasts of every age and level of experience can meet, exchange ideas and bring them to life. Within 48 hours a script is created, shot and edited and finally the results are watched together on the big screen. This year the Bielefeld KinoKabaret BieKino will take place in the Rochdale Barracks
Wie funktioniert ein KinoKabaret?
Nach einer allgemeinen Vorstellrunde präsentieren die Teilnehmer*innen bei einem sogenannten „Production Meeting“ ihre Ideen für Kurzfilme und bilden Teams, um diese zu realisieren. Doch lange darf nicht gezögert werden, denn die Zeit läuft: nach 48 Std. versammeln sich alle vor der großen Leinwand um gemeinsam das Geschaffene anzusehen. Alt und jung, Anfänger*innen und Profis, alle sind willkommen und können etwas beitragen, ausprobieren und umsetzen.
How does a KinoKabaret work?
After a short introduction, the participants present their short film ideas in a production meeting and form teams to bring them to life. But there is no time to hesitate, because time is running out: after only 48 hours everyone gathers in front of the big screen to watch what they have created together. Old and young, beginners and professionals, all are welcome and can contribute, try out, implement something.
